CONAMA 2018 AWARDS

From June 1st to November 2nd, 2018, the deadline for submitting candidacies for the CONAMA 2018 prizes will be open. This award distinguishes the best projects in favor of sustainability in Spanish municipalities. It is awarded by the Conama Foundation, an independent entity that organizes the National Environmental Congress.

Two modalities are established according to the total population census of the participating entities. For each of them, a main prize and two runners-up prizes will be awarded. These modalities are:

• Less than 5,000 inhabitants.
• Between 5,000 and 30,000 inhabitants, both inclusive.

  The candidatures will be of projects, launched or fully completed, that are related to the environment and sustainable development that contemplate any of the following topics:

  • Water and environmental quality.
  • Conservation and forest management.
  • Economy and employment.
  • Energy and climate change.
  • Infrastructure and mobility.
  • Society, equality and participation.
